I got a little carried away during Christmas shopping (who'd have thought?) and wound up with an extra gift box. It contains some seasoning blends and whatnot that might help you in the late-January outdoor cooking contest. Not sure if I should post a photo or let it be a surprise...
For those that don't know the origin of the 12 Days of Christmas, contrary to what retail businesses would have us think, they are not the last 12 shopping days before the Holiday. The 12 Days start on Christmas day (or the day after, Boxing Day) and end on the day before or day of Epiphany, aka Three Kings Day, on 6 January. When I was stationed in Germany, one of the many holidays that the local shooting clubs celebrated with shooting matches was "Drei-Koenigs-Tag".
I'll do a random drawing first thing on 6 Jan (say 0600 Central Standard Time) so I can drop it in the mail that day.
To participate, you must be a Beckerhead or at least applied for your number in the application thread, and let me know that "you're in with the 3 Wise Guys".
Results
I used the random number generator at random.org to generate a number from 2 to 18 (if it rolled 12, my bump, I would have re-rolled).
And the winner is......Post #2, Weaponeer. Congrats, no need to send your address since I know where you live.
For grins, I did a second role, since I won't have to pay postage on this one, and #6 came up, so if Jonny1280 will PM your shipping info, I'll dig up something to send you.
