Hello everyone just finished this one and thought i would share some pics!
13 inch blade of 1095, stag handle with blued fittings. Knife measures a little ov er 18 inches. Thanks for looking.
I'm with Roger on this. Very impressive. I want to add that I got a chance to handle one of Stewart's knives at Little Rock, and his detail and finish are really up there. This guy is doing some neat work, and he's a fun person, also.
Very nice piece. I like the look of high polished blued fittings but
not durable enough for me. Scratches to easily. Especially when laid against rocks or tree trunks for photos.
But seriously, beautiful big ass fighter.
I really like the curved, spear point blade. The knife as a whole looks fabulous to me. It certainly doesn't hurt that it is a subhilt, because that is one of my favorite types of knife.
I would like to thank everyone for there kind words. Kevin fitting never touched the rock or the tree LOL! Keith a little about me.
My name is Billy Stewart i live in south central MO, i have been making knives going on two years now. I work with 1095, 5160 and 52100 i do some damascus but i dont have a power hammer so dont do alot of it.
All of my knives are built by me from start to finish. Hope this answers your questions if not just let me know.
Again thanks for the kind words everyone.
