1311 joy :)

heartwarming to know she went to a loving home and that your stitching her up some nice new fancy pants
great work pap11y!
cant wait to see the end result
Im also hoping to see her with hardly any coating left in a few months ;)

Thanks mate :)

I am still deciding about the drain hole. I don't usually use them but its not a bad idea..

Thanks everyone for your posts..

Well I finished one except for sealing the sheath. The design has worked out ok I think.

I stamped the sheath in the shape of the blade. I thought the stamp had a pretty good resemblance to the outer coating of the 1311.

I wet formed it around the edge as well. What do you think?

Thanks for your words guys. Much appreciated and very encouraging.

I can't wait to get these to work...

Well its been a delayed finish to the project. Mainly due to me knowing what was in store with the second sheath - stitching wise.

I'm happy to say its all done. See below with my Rodent solution and a sheath I made for it.

You can see the new sheath has a glossy look but that won't last long.

This project was epic for me. Epic because these babies are exactly what I was looking for.

Epic due to the amount of work to get them clothed. These guys will be seeing plenty of bush time.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
