I'm interested in the Spartan. However I'm not clear on what you meant by "I have thinned the edge to be better suited to woods work as Spartan Blades tend to come with a very thick edge". Did you re-profile the blade angle? Or did you mean something different. Thanks.

I did re-profile the edge, that is what I meant. The stock edge is quite thick, the same sort of thing you hear about with Winklers.
