Those kerambits are truly marevellous. Overshadow the BDCs IMHO.

Danny...here's a pic of the 10" BDC in my hand:

It is a very nice blade. Think of it this way....the 14" BDC is more like a big brother...will need a companion.

If you try to grip the 10" like a bowie knife, it will not feel good. However, if you choke up on it a bit, suddenly it feels great.

I think you'll find it to be quick and light in the hand. Easy to carry/conceal.

Actually, you can get all sorts of free betaware (I got the free VS.NET beta) as well as free viewers, a free website and database design tool (WebMatrix), and free software devolpment kits (.NET/CLR, DirectX, and more). The VS.NET free beta was similar to receiving $2000 of blems free. It just needed some expoxy and rust removal...
