FYI anyone who can reply to Âchillepattada ~

I have been sending knives to France and Italy using USPS 1st class. No insurance because I don't red flag packages with their value and besides which, trying to collect is a major hassle, with likely only bad outcomes. I use a solid box, big enough to comfortably handle the label and reinforced with more tape than you would think needed. Lots of packages I receive from overseas are in padded envelope. In that case use an envelope within an envelope and make certain there is no discernible knife shape that can be felt through the packaging. Again, lots of tape.

I have had no troubles and the knives usually arrive within 10 to 12 days and most often, the cost does not exceed $ 20.00. Might cost less with a padded envelope.
