14" to 19" Axe handle swap?

Does anyone know if I can swap out the 14" handle for the 19" (Rainier Scout to Regular Rainier)?? is the diameter the same? If so how does one replace a handle?

p.s. I bought this Rainier Scout from ATC, I assume its the same one.
 
I'd suggest e-mailing Suzanne, I wouldn't know if there are any changes between ATC and Bear Mountain but I did hear that BM uses the same handle for both Rainier's and just cuts it down for the scout so I would imagine you could swap handles. They fit them on with a shop press.
 
Yes you can swap out the handle - it's the same for both. It's the exact same as the one you purchased from ATC - same forger, same equipment. To replace the handle you do need a press. If you don't have access to one feel free to send it in to us and we'll take care of it for you. Give me a call and we'll work it out or I'll give you phone help.
