Description:
For sale are 2 Ardennes Belgium Coticules and a slurry stone. The large one(6" X 2") is a Select Grade(For Razors) Coticule that I just bought from Howard at The Perfect Edge for $170. I have only sharpened 1 razor on it so it is basically still new.
The second smaller(5" X 1-1/2") Coticule I got off Ebay a year ago for $70 and have used it on 3 knives so it is also basically new, but it is not a Select Grade for sharpening razors, although it may be able to with the right technique. The slurry stone(2" X 1-1/4") came with the 2nd stone I bought from Ebay, it is also included in this sale. All of these Coticules are on regular purple slate material and not Belgium Blue Whetstone(BBW). Both of these are fast cutters IMO. The thickness of all these Coticules are 11 to 12mm, the rest is purple base slate not for sharpening and measures around 9 to 10mm. I'm selling these because I no longer use them and have no need for them. As you can see, the pricing for all of them is very low and very fair.Price: $160 <$150!<$140 TYD
