Guinea Hog Forge / Scott McGhee Silverbird, this is a stock removal blade by the very desired ABS Mastersmith Scott McGhee. Blade is 3V and has a subdued finish. Handle is scalloped green micarta...at least it looks green to me. I know it's micarta. Kydex is really nicely done. 9"overall, 4.25" blade. Never been used at all. Asking SOLD
Huntsman / Kal-el Fell Beast Machete, Hunter has a subforum here on BF, but he's been tied up with law school. He's torture tested these blades and they've done really well. This is 52100. It is the thicker stock. .130ish. 17.5 inch blade, 23.5 inches overall. Handle is micarta over rubber liners for shock absorption. PLEASE NOTE: This has been modified and used. I had knifemaker Jeremy McCullen grind the ricasso back under coolant to the edge was dropped for easier sharpening. Hunter later convexed the whole thing for me to thin out the edge. You can still see left over marks from where the forge finish flats used to be. I also drilled holes into the kydex so it drains better. I have used it since then, but the edge is nice and sharp. The kydex is still nice, although not a super tight fit. Because of the use and all I am asking a very low price, only SOLD, and keep in mind what the included shipping will run on this when you consider the price. This is meant to be a user that you beat on!
