Sorry if this has been asked before, I didn't see a topic on it. Is there a list of which Kershaw knives currently use the new 14C28N blade steel?

All of the ones that were using 13C26 are now using 14C28N as of January.

Everything that was offered in 13C26 switched to 14C28N as
of the 1st of the year plus a few of the newer models such as
the Zing, PackRat and others.

I'm to lazy to type out the whole list. ;)

Too slow, I think my granddaughter needs her computer back. :p

Sorry all, been on the road for 2 weeks, and trying to play catch up here in the office.

You can always tell where I'm at based on my current posts. If you see a bunch of one sentence responses...I'm slammed.

This week...I'm slammed. I'll see if I can find the time to address this over the next few days.

Wait, this was more than one sentence...now I'm really behind.

So get back to work! We can all wait.............

For a little :p

But seriously, I'd rather wait and see a lot of new info. Especially when that info is always good news.

Ok so, this steel change over thing we've done a couple times now is a real PIA, as you can imagine.

To play it as accurate as possible, all knives that were 13C26 and are changing over to 14C28N will be dated 03/09. So there you have it.

Now there are knives that have been changed over already, but it's virtualy impossible to tell which ones, so, all models will for sure be switched over in March...I know, I know, it's not perfect.

Those Swede's must be offering one heck of a deal on Sandvick if we are getting
such a big upgrade in so many models.

well 14c28n is an exclusive steel for kershaw co-developed with sandvik so i would imagine there is a mutually beneficial relationship for each party. but ultimately i believe it is the consumer that benefits from this relationship; obtaining an exclusive and moderately high-end knife steel at an unmatched price point.

:)
