14C28N Random Leek

Hi Thomas - are there any plans to release a composite-bladed PE random leek? Or a ZDP version? I'll plan on grabbing one of these, but I especially think a composite blade would look super on the random blade design. Thanks!

I agree that a RLCB would look awesome, but nothing planned as of today sorry.

Beutiful Thomas, nice to see knives now coming out. All of you please post your input as far as the steel goes.

I see you have the grade name on the knife there, that looks gooood, does it not Thomas?

Looks like a good way for me to try out 14C28N, and the Random Leek blade geometry. I'm dieing to try a RL!

Will do, Jerker "The Destroyer". ;)

Thanks for taking time out to post in the forums. It's nice that
we have folks that make the steel, design the knives and produce
them staying in contact with us. 1st class act with all you guys!!

The 1660TSW's have shipped as of yesterday. Looks like the final count on the run was 984 pieces.

They are on the bay! Has anyone found them at a real online store yet? I am not going to pay $54 shipped for one off of the bay. Now from a real store I might.

I spoke with the fine folks at New Graham and they've not yet taken delivery of these yet.

wow...that is an amazing looking knife!...too bad i do not have the funds...to purchase at this time. hmm...maybe i do. how much do kidneys run for these days? hahaha

found them on knifecenter in stock....almost pulled the trigger on it today.

EDITED: pulled the trigger today instead :D

pics will be inbound once i have it in hand. looks like the fall knife buying season started today for me. dunno if ill stop in time for winter :)

Got one from KC too. The only other Kershaw's I have are a Needs Work and Leek Damascus - very happy with both and i think it won't stop there.

i would hope you wouldn't stop there. this knife will be my first leek. though i will look for a DAM blade in each family eventually. i have three needs work, PE, PS and black and all are great blades. im sure you will have caught the bug by now. remember the kershaw sub-forum motto

Get Both!!!

first one I saw listed was on Ebay so I pounced, & got a decent deal I thought. Last week I told the gals at the Kershaw booth at Blade West about my years-long quest for a PE RL, and the were so concerned for me, they were like "oh my, it's a limited production, buy the first one you see!" So I did. Soon, soon it will be mine!

. . . . . .

Got it! HAIR POPPING SHARP! nice!!!

got mine today with a kydex neck sheath for kicks. it even locks securely after switching to tip up! this was my first leek and man oh man, ive started down the path to the dark side. ill have pics soon.

wow I hve been waiting for this blade style to pop up again .. I love the looks of this one .. any one know who has the best deal on them? Thanks for sharing

I was very much looking forward to this one. I ordered two from New Graham and the box arrived today. Oooops...only one knife in the box. I'll call NG tomorrow and they'll take care of me. So I open the box and take out the new Leek.....it only opens about 1/2 way. I close it an open it about 10 times and can only get it open about 3/4 of the way. I tried adjusting it but nothing helps...bummer. This isn't the first time I've had a Leek act like this....no big deal....Kershaw has always taken care of me. So.....all this aside....I like this knife. The blade shape appeals me greatly and I'm looking forward to carrying this one. I usually have a S30V Leek or a combination blade (love the CPMD2) on me so I'm curious to see how this one compares.
