My dad had this custom cast from the third talon of a golden eagle over 30 years ago. (For those wondering, the eagle was a road kill and tagged by the Game and Fish, so legal.) 33.8 grams of solid (NOT plated) 14K gold in total including chain. Chain is right at 18 inches long with a double locking clasp. The only comparable piece I've found was on Etsy for $3000 and weighed only 21 grams. It's hard to know where to price it, but let's say $2000 on this simply beautiful, one-off piece.
