Got a phone call last night. The friend I sent the 15" AK to finally got it. With 5 page copy of LeRoy Thompson's "Killer Kukris" article from 9/98 Combat Knives.
He kept repeating how impressed he was. And that his wife was ready to move out (tongue-in-cheek) if he kept it. You could hear the awe in his voice. Also kept asking where I got it from. Told him the address was at end of article. Did not give him your phone # yet Uncle Bill. He works in Reno, so if you see someone in a big brown Suburban stalking you as you leave the post office...
Just thought I'd pass it on to those of you who've shown friends your toys and can relate to the amazement factor. Good thing I didn't start him off with a 20" AK. He was already in shock!
