#15 Clip Long Nail Pull

The pull running into the tang was INTENTIONAL!!!:eek: Bill and I talked about it months before it was released!! It was indeed a nod to the old style knives. I am always looking to put old-style features into my SFOs. Many companies ran the nail groove right through the tang in their exhibition examples, but Bill felt it would interfere if it ran past the pivot!!:)

This is good enough for me.

Fine example, interestingly enough I've only ever seen this extended pull on Spear blades but I'm sure they existed on Clip too.

I wonder if this practice would actually compromise the strength of the blade by extending into the tang? Might have been difficult to do in the production process as well, hence the restive scarcity of it.
