15 in. Ang Khola or BAS?

In the next month I am preparing to buy my first Kukri from HI. I have gone from 12" to 15" now I cant decide between the Ang Khola and the BAS. Any suggestions? I will use mine primarily for chopping. Thanks
 
I can't speak for the Ang Khola, but my first (and so far only) kuk is the 15 inch BAS. I love it! Chops good, and slices and dices well also. From what I've heard, the Ang Khola is a better chpopper. Glad I didn't get the 12 inch I was planning on getting. My 15 inch BAS almost seems a little light now that I've had if for a little while. My next KUK will be an 18 inch variety for sure.
 
In my experience the two are interchangeable, on average the AK will be slightly lighter but the range of weights definently overlaps
both are going to be very similar, but if you like fullers, get the AK if you prefer no fullers, get the BAS

the thinner areas on the side of the blade are fullers, they change the balance slightly so that the BAS is a tad more front heavy than the AK, but its pretty subtle if you ask me so Id go for whichever one is aesthetically more apealing to you
