Here is a perfect 10/10 Sirupati made and marked by the kami with no name. There is only one problem with the entire rig and that is a hairline crack on the handle -- maybe 3 or 4 thou and hardly wide enough for super glue to get into it. Everything else is tops.

Because of this hairline crack we'll knock $30 off regular price and deliver this rig to your door for $70 even.

Good price for a great rig.

Call or email if interested.

This one must have gotten lost in all the new posts! I'll take it, if you can wait a few days for the check! My expense check should be here in a week.

Thanks, Uncle Bill!
I can't believe this one lasted at all - What a great deal! Everyone's so obsessed with Durba, they can't see any other khuks. I have one of the KNM (Kami with no name) 12" sirupati blems. that I'm very happy with. It was one of the 2 pack that went in ten minutes. Great quality!

Outdoors,

Not everyone's obsessed with Durba. He does wonderful work, but Sanu's my favorite. I like his work more than anyone, even Bura.

(Don't you just hate grammatical mistakes?)

Yup. Gotta admit though that those Durba fans are pretty passionate about their knives. Reminds me of the excitement that Kumar used to generate.

Kamagong,
I have a Sanu 20" sirupati, I love it! I'm just teasing the Durba folks. But, honestly, all the kamis are great. Their work is just a bit different. That's what makes it so much fun.

Outdoors,
Good get! Sanu makes an excellent blade! I have a plain YCS by him! Enjoy your K! Wait till you get a Durba(IF you can beat me on the UBDOTD'S)!hee, hee!

Naw, it's not a challange from Tsimi, he's just talking through his hairy face.

And he doesn't get ALL of the Durba's as myself and several others have beaten Tsimi to the punch in the past. And others will beat him in the future.

The khukuri arrived in today's mail! The crack in the handle is barely visible. I do a crazyglue fix-up on it tonite. Sword of Shiva engraving on the blade is nice and deep. The maker's mark is the flaming butterlamp version of the KNN mark (it looks sort of like a feather sticking out of a bowl). The balance is excellent!

Sheath - excellent! Even better than my 20" sirupati, I think. Engraving is deep, but the fit is a touch loose. A week or two here on the more humid northwest coast will likely fix it.

Frog - a bit loose, This may also tighten up. If not, a bit of leather surgery may be in order. Not a problem.

Karda - nice, large horn handle, with a small split. Epoxy for this crack, I think.

Chakma. Here's the big surprise. It has a large wood handle. I think you can see that the picture above, though I didn't catch it earlier. It's also a bit big for the ring in the sheath. The main problem with this is ... well ... it would make a near perfect 2nd karda! The "blade" tip drop is just right, though it might be a bit thick. Assuming that it doesn't belong to someone else's khuk, I may just grind it down to a blade and use the spine as a chakma, a la YCS. Or perhaps I'll just lookout for another chakma and make a separate sheath for this one.

Thanks again, Uncle Bill.
