Review 15 years of daily carry (quick update) 🦘🇦🇺

I went full modern a few weeks ago, if bought Hogue, benchmade, spyderco, real nice blades, some in magnacut, most with super strong locking mechanisms, a few came with play in couldn't correct, but all in all nice blades, quality made. What did I do with them? Nothing a swiss army knife couldn't do, if im going to be honest, that's not to say "I didnt heavily use them so they aren't necessary" but in these weeks a super tinker and Huntsman sat in the drawer with the others while I struggled to get them some use as much as I can.
I pushed away the thought that as much as the benchmade adira in magnacut can handle, and what it can do, it can't really compare to a SAK, it might cut better, but a sak cuts good <and> can offer helping hand elsewhere

I don't know if I need a morning coffee, but your title struck me as very funny. Kind of like 15 years is a quick update based on a 100 year review. :D

Good looking knife, and great to see a long term review of one of my favorite SAKs, thanks!

Makes feel old that I saw this thread title and thought "I remember when he did the 10 year detailed review" . Glad to see old faithful is still ticking along . You wouldnt consider sending it to Victorinox for a service and to swap out the busted driver ?

Either way, looking forward to seeing many more years of pictures of your handy assistant :D

Mate, I dont think Victorinox owes me anything, it definitely wasn't their fault I broke the can opener. I dont want to give away too much before my next review but I probably wasn't using the recommended technique when it broke.

I thought i would share a few photos of how my Huntsman looks after 15 years of use.

Here is a link to the original 10 year review

Thread '10 years with my Huntsman' https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/10-years-with-my-huntsman.1762194/

Im still very happy with how it performs. Its showing signs of wear and is has suffered an unfortunate breakage of the can opener. I do miss it as a screw driver. I've replaced the lanyard twice.
Anyways stay tuned I will provide a detailed review in 2030.

Haven’t been on the forums for months and glad to have read this one. Made me grab my Huntsman and throw in the pocket. Usually
It lives in my work bag. The bulk is what initially
took it out of my pocket. Curious how you carry? Just loose in the pocket? Do you carry even when in shorts? I agree it has the perfect tool set. Being a bearded guy, I can’t live without scissors lol.
