Alright I am planning on $150 for my next folder. I want something for camp/survival use. I want a steel that has good edge holding capabilities and decently easy to sharpen (s30v or vg-10? Maybe d2?). I want something in the 3.5-4 inch blade length. So far I have come up with the Al Mar Sere 2000, Benchmade 520 Presidio (possibly auto version) and thee ZT 0350. Any other ideas?

I am liking the zt stuff its all a matter of how much mass do you want it to have. I personally love the 300,301,302 but they are beefcakes and a little over the price range. I'd imagine people using them for edc would have to not care about mass or weight which I fall into that group.

the other ones in the related series seem nice but I dont actually own them

Not a fan of the spyderco military, or any spyderco for that matter. They just don't appeal to me visually and that is important.

Okay, I'll be "that guy".

If you're looking for something for camp/survival use, why are you looking for a folder instead of a fixed blade?

You can get some great fixed blades for that much money that will be many times sturdier than any folder you can name, and if you're in the woods, the carrying ease of a folder matters less.
