can someone tell me if it's possible to mirror polish 154cm steel, and if so what the best techniques or tools would be. thanks

Yes, it's commonly done using progressively finer sand paper down to 1200 or finer grit. A more detailed answer requires a more detailed question on how you will make your knife. Search the archives here for several different techniques.

cool, the main thing i was needing to know is if it would polish nicely. you answered that one. i'll definitely look for the techniques either on here or delphi forums. thanks for the info.
