For sale here is a santoku chef knife, built on 3/32 154CM stock with a full flat grind, tapered tang, and a 400 grit hand finish. My heat treat, with dry ice, tempered to 60-61 RC. The mirror polished 416 stainless bolsters are dovetailed, and the handle is an exceptional set of rosewood burl with mosaic pins. Overall length is 12" with a 7" blade. $400

The smaller knife is one of my upswept bird and trout patterns, and is sold.

surprised this is still here. The fit and finish looks impeccable. What does the distal taper/ tip and choil shot look like?
 
I'll have to shoot one this evening, don't have that shot on my phone.
 
It is difficult to get a phone to focus right to take this shot. Even so, I think you can see how thin this one is ground.
