154CM vs S30V

hello all im new to this forum and this seemed like the right place to ask this question.

Over all which steel makes a better(stronger,better edge retention,finer edge capability) knife blade? The reason is I have been looking at getting a Microtech OTF auto and before I decide I wanted to know which model to choose based on the steel of the blade.

Although 154CM has a proven track record, I would have to say CPM S30V is the better one in terms of your criteria.

hmm the more expensive of the two but hey its prolly worth it in the long run thanks a lot guys.
