Hey guys I was looking at the buck bravo, which I realize hasent gotten the greatest of reviews recently, but anyway this knife is supposed to be "like a pry bar" they say but the steel is 154cm? which is one im not too familiar with. I though what better place to ask than here! Anyone describe 154cm to me a little better. thanks - Joel

154CM is basically the American version (and I believe the original of the two) of Hitachi's ATS34.

As far as being used as a pry bar...that really comes down more to geometry/thickness. These steels are fairly tough, even when hard, but any steel will eventually fail if it's used beyond what it is designed to do. I'm not familiar with the knife in question, but perhaps someone else here can tell you more.
