15N20 and L6 steel???

I'd agree with Kentucky. I have made many knives from both and when heat treated properly you end up with a very tough blade that will hold a good edge. The only difference I really see is that L6 will air harden easily unless you can really slow down the cooling time during annealing.
 
Iv got a couple of knives made from 15N20.

Iv got a small fixed blade, and a santoku kitchen knife.
I like them both. Patina's pretty much instantly.
