Excellent steel by itself or mixed with another, but it is more a Swedish version of 1075 (just add nickel) than it in any way resembles L6. I know that this is commonly said in knifemaking circles but if it were to lead somebody into heat treating it like L6 (which it has) or to simply replace it with L6 (which it has) the results could be frustrating to say the least.
