Anyone know how to get hold of Uddeholm here in the US?
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Man I love 15n20. Wish I did not have to forge weld it togather to get thicker stock
I swear there was just someone posting in shoptalk the other day about having a local Uddeholm representative that was very open to filling steel orders for knifemakers... if the search function here does not turn it up, try searching the site with Google, I'm sure you'll find it.
I was told that they have .25" 15n20, but they have a $400 minimum

What size 15N20 do you want? I can have it rolled to 3/8" thick. I have intentions of getting it rolled to 1/4"(.270). Bohler keeps certain sizes in stock for band saw blade and all spring tempered to around 42/45Rc. If I see enough interest I can put it on the stock list. The ingots are around 3 metric tons(6600lbs.) Who's in?
The current/new name of the company is Voestalpine Precision Strip. The most recent number that I have is 330-220-7800
I have purchased 15n20 from this place in Brunswick, OH (local to me) and the guy there cut it to strips 1.5" wide. He did want a minimum order for all the free cutting he did.
Place seemed very friendly to knifemakers.
