The head has been cold blued, press fitted and pinned to the handle with two 3/16" copper pins. The pins were left long so even though they are peened they are not flush, forming exposed studs. The handle has been sanded and treated with two coats of teak oil. Cotton webbing wrap and upper and lower tooled leather "guards". There is a 1/4" thong hole at the base of the handle and a para-cord thong.
