1600 Knife collection

So everywhere there are these "Gun and Knife" shows. Lots of guns, no deals on them, but a good place to lay hands on just about everything...before finding a better place to buy. Fine.

But where are the knives? Oh sure, there are always a few, always a few cases of old slipjoints, always a bunch of those Glock Field Knives, and the guy selling those so-so antler handled jobs. But really, 1,000 to one guns to knives. Never seen a Balisong, I don't think I've ever seen a Spyderco, maybe a Cold Steel now and again, never ever seen a Falkniven, an EESE, a Busse...hell, I am not sure I've ever seen a Buck but I probably have.

Are there any knife shows anyplace where there are actually a good selection of all kinds of knives?
Last one I went to had several custom makers with tool steel, stainless, and damascus fixed blades with sunthetic and natural handles, along with 8 or 10 booths with cases full of Kershaw, Spyderco, Benchmade, Kabar, Queen, Buck, and Case. Plus there were a couple with vintage slippies, Case, Bulldog, Fight'n Rooster, Kabar, etc.

The Chicago Tribune reported that he had almost 50 illegal weapons..."switchblades and brass knuckles"...

This dude as a little weird...From the Sun-Times article:
Long has been arrested 18 times since 2000 on charges that include being caught in a secure judge's chamber, masturbating in public and violating an order barring him from Northwestern Business College in Skokie. The U.S. Marshals threat-assessment team banned him from the federal court's law library after he asked women to model for him, according to records.

Nice...:jerkit:
