That's definitely cold. We aren't even hitting that as a high during the day up north of you. :(

17° F. sounds down right balmy to me David. :D
We might hit that for our high today.

I love Winter!
When its cold you can always put on another layer, but when its hot you can only take off so much.

Stay warm brother !

LOL, hadn't seen the + side of 0 all week, up to 22 now .

Predicting 48 for tomorrow, get out the sunscreen !

I took a water bottle out side & stuck Oinkaliber in it to see what would happen.

I think I stuck it in a little hard & some of the water leaked out &

Well

Dang Dave that is crazy, just spent 9 days in the Phoenix area and it was very nice, pleasant weather, thoroughly enjoyed it. What a difference a week makes.

I live 20 miles west of tucson, almost in single digits last night. Well head froze, no water this morning. Diesel gelled in the truck, had to let it warm up for almost an hour before it would run over an idle. Well wasn't damaged, and is running again as of 3:00 this afternoon. I'm letting the water run till tomorrow morn at least!

Nice to know that occasionally it can be warmer in Penn's woods than Tucson... 23° this morning. :p:D

Get this now they ran out of natural gas so no heat or hot water !!!!!

That's why I live in the country. I'm on propane (500 gal tank) and have a cord of wood as a backup. I'll be warm tonight!

I saw 6 on my truck thermometer this morning east of you with wind chill it was probably about -15 or so.

My girlfreind lives in west chicago land

(there's a road somewhere under that)

It was a chilly 9 degrees this AM in my part of the sunny southwest...with a wind chill of 0. Pipes did freeze, working now. Yep, there was frost on the Dobies this morning...and they slept inside!

17 degrees is sunbathing weather!

It is actually not too cold up here today. I think the high was 29 or 30 degrees, so that is nice. Actually blue skies right now.

I am really miffed all these city folk out in the east are stealing all my sweet snow.

My home town did not really get dumped on this year.

Two years ago I got 92.6 inches in the front yard, on the year.

Year before that was a measly 89 inches if I remember correctly.
