Starting wednesday the oil companys in this area have turned the power off on there wells around here due to single digit weather, the electric company killed the power on 62 wells we have so they could supply enough elec to residents which includes my house which is more important to me, but the flowlines that have oil and produced/high chloride water in them had froze when they said we had elec so maybe tomorrow we will turn them back on. Only the forth time this has happened in the 22 years i have been on this oil lease.

Well hope you folks dont have too much damage..... but now you get a little taste of what us northerners get a few months out of the year..... My friend in Galveston TX was ribbin me a couple weeks back that he was ridin his motorcycle.... 25 degrees there ... payback is a bitch...lol

It was 60 and windy every time we hunted during deer season and no rain since the first week of october, it really pissed me off...but this is great weather for calling varmints!!!!!!!!!:thumbup:

Gas is back on & getting back on in more places, what a mess.

It really is an eye opener of how reliant we are on water, gas & electric.
