I forged this one by laminating mild steel over a 1/4 inch bit of 5160 high carbon steel
The bit is heat treated to Rd 58-60
Axe grind
White ash handle (Please note the small pin knots that showed up as I was finishing this. I don't think they will be a problem but if the handle fails with normal use I will replace)
Length from the butt to the top of the head: 13 1/4 inches
Head length: 5 3/4 inches
Cutting edge: approximately 3 inches
It will ship with a simple leather edge cover
