CHILDHOOD DREAM FULFILLED!!!
This is the first REAL (proper heat treat and all that) sword that I have done all the work myself. It might not be all that big with an OAL of 18.25" and a blade of 12.65" (I was aiming for 18" and 12.5" but we all know steel has a mind of it's own), but it fills the hand and feels quite comfortable in use. Being made of 1084 tempered to around 60HRC, it is not afraid of real use. I would like to thank all the wonderful bladesmiths on this forum for being so helpful in getting me to this point. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!
