18 X-RAY New Production?

Does anyone know anything about the new Darrel Ralph design 18 Xray?
It's something like his custom AK/1?

I saw the new X-Ray switchblade yesterday at the Camillus factory. The knife is all black with one button that opens and closes the knife and there is not a sliding lock like used on the MC-1 Paratrooper's knife.

I was allowed to handle the knife and I was impressed with the design and quality.

I have one of Darrel's DDR AK/1 1 of 15, and I love it. Would mind get a Cam 18 for everyday use.

The new 18 X-RAY knife will be avaialable the 2nd or 3rd week of October. Two versions will be offered: a straight edge or partially serrated edge. The suggested retail price is $299.95.

The scales are aircraft aluminum with black hard coat on them.

The blade lenght is 3.99995. "ALMOST 4 "
The opener is my new sas opener.
It is in safe mode open or close.
The saftey is automatic.
The handles are hard black anodize.
The blade is 154 cm and dlc coated.
All the hardware is hardened and made from the very best stainless.

1)what is the closed length of this knife?
2)will it be available with an uncoated blade in the future?
3)any chance of a manual version?

The length is close to 5" closed.
That will be up to camillus
I will offer the smaller knife that I am building is an uncoated blade.
I dont know if a manual is in the works or not.
The retail is 250.00 I think "Not for certain"
I do know that the street pricce is to be about 199.00 or less.
