.187 or less !!

Honestly, I like the blade shape on the AD much more than the meaner. It's less pointy, has a bit more belly, and is more compact to carry. The AD got used right away after I got it, but the meaner I kept waffling back and forth deciding whether I should keep it and use it or sell it.

the meaner is one of favourite all time designs ... to look at. I've never actually seen one in the flesh. I had a AD but didn't like saber grind it had !!

The recent tweener AD's have been full flat ground. That's one of the things I love about mine.

If you can snag an original Lean Mean, that's the way to go thin.

Some 5" and less knives for size comparison...

If I could get one of those lean means for a price that actually makes sense for a user, I'd have all the EDC I ever need.

About .195 to .200, thinner without the coating.

It is illuminating to see all the choices grouped together like that....great pic Guyon....

My eye is still drawn to the RMD in that photo....it's just got perfect symetry .... like the E-Type of the Bussekin world.... IMO perhaps Jerry's best design...certainly one of the best balanced and weighted "users"....

How thick were the ZT series... BM, SH, NO, & SJ?

The 3 finger was thin wasn't it?

Then there's all the .170" thick ardens the are under the .187" mark.

I'm sure there are more.

.

from all your kind posts I think green linen BAD or leaner meaner would be my perfect knife.

shiva rex isn't a knife - it's a uglified toothpick
