I know nothing about Medfords other than their beefiness. Can you tell me how it opens, is it a slipjoint, etc.?

Thank you. Nice looking knife, but the wife is in one of her, "how many knives did you buy this month?" moods. I need to open a PO box so my knife packages don't arrive at home. lol
