This is going up on a couple of buckskinner sites, but thought I'd give it a shot here, too. The blade is forged 1095 with a cold brown finish to give the aged/used patina. Handle is white tail leg bone with rawhide wrap, aged pewter collar, bone pipes, glass and brass beads, brass cones with horse hair tufts. The sheath is veg-tan liner, rawhide outer, brain tanned beaded cuff, bone pipes, glass and brass beads, brass cones with horse hair tufts, and brass tacks up the spine. The bead work is lazy stitch in authentic period design and colors. I tried to stay really "period like" but did use some materials that make it not "period correct". Spec's are:
OAL: 8"
Blade: 3" to ricasso
Width: 1 1/8"
Thickness: 5/32
Steel: Forged 1095, cold brown finish, finger cuttin' sharp (ask me how I know)
Price: $230.00 includes shipping in CONUS, PayPal (ruger315@bellsouth.net), money order or check.

Dang R-Lo, you stepped it up a few notches there.

Great looking package. Somebody is gonna be happy.

Robert

Thanks Robert! Guy's gotta have a little fun and step outa the box once in a while. Maybe I can get my own "association" going. Sure like what you're putting up, too!! Keep it going.
Rick

That's just a big new adventure from you

In my humble opinion, it's great to see so many great knives and sheath here :)

Thanks for all the good words! The veg-tan inner is 5/6oz. and I don't know exactly what the rawhide would rate at, but I'd guess also 5/6oz.

Hey Mike! You're right about the time burning! Old gnarly fingers complained a bunch about the beading, too.
Rick

Rick, that is one sweet package. I bought one of your deep belly drop-point hunters and it's the best hunting knife I have ever owned, and I have owned many. I imagine this one will have similar quality, though I admit, way more class than the one I bought. Top notch, Rick.
