Need to downsize my blade collestion. This beautiful
khuk has been in the safe for two years or so. Never used,
blade oiled and looked at a few times.
Has the criss/cross blade pattern.

Me! I'm trying to work out a deal with Berk also but I think I can scrape up enough for both!
 
I like the "file" look it has!:) Maybe I can use it as a nail file and treat all the women to a manicure!:D

I'd be tempted to buy that 18th century, but I've got upcoming credit card bills to pay (Christmas and college books). Besides, SkagSig wants one more than I do at the moment.

18th Century model is a beauty! I guess most of this model was only made during Shop 1 period and only few of them were made during Shop 2 period. Mine is the last 18th Century from Shop 1 - I nearly lost it to some other customer - luckily my Makcik Ang Yangdu secretly hided it for Mohd ... (ie. otherwise my forgetfull Pakcik Bill might have sent it to some other person) ... every time I handle it I remember my kind Makcik Ang Yangdu (ie. Thanks a lot Makcik Ang Yangdu)! I name it as The Warrior.

Chris - Congrat! I guess it weigh about 1.75 lbs 18" OAL - Last time it cost me USD 175 ... it is rare collection ... it is really a good buy!
 
The 18th Century is a fantastic khuk. I got one last year with wood hadle and steel fittings and am considering a second for this year, with a smaller horn handle and silver fittings.
 
I don't like the hatchmarked blade very much myself. The grooves like to pick up all sorts of stuff and it's hard to get it cleaned out. I'm lazy.
 
Ok Guys, HI is going to start having 18 century khuks pretty shortly as I'm in the process of molding and casting Berk's big 23" dui chirra. If this one goes well (and I'm sure it will) there will be more and more prototypes sent to the Kamis so they can make reproductions of khuks gone by.

Were keeping history alive at HI !!

Is it just me or have the kamis straightened the acute angle out and lessened the fullering? I seem to remember it lending itself to swinging as a hammer to spike it pointfirst into/through armor.
