Forged by wrapping and forge welding mild steel over a 5160 bit
The bit is heat treated to Rc 58-60 so a stone is required to sharpen this axe
Secondary edge geometry is the same as I would put on a large chopper knife
Hand made white ash handle with three coats of linseed oil
Length of the handle to the top of the head is 13 1/2 inches
Length of the head is 6 1/2 inches with a cutting edge of approximately 3 1/2 inches
Leather edge cover
