Lets start with the basics first,
How are you going to be dressing, seeing that your ID lists you from northern mn, (the cities here) and are probably not into suits and ties as everyday apparell, the options grow.
In minnesota, a fanny pack on a man will get attention you just do not want. Sorry to you east and west coasters, but a fanny pack on a man here is either a sign you're gay or you still live in mommies basement.
If you work in a normal Mn job environment where a camp shirt or nice polo untucked is not considered unkempt, there are literally thousands of models of holsters that will work. The mention of the Ligier belt tells me that you know and own a pair of carrharts or two. good. A good and simple thumb snap slide holster from a reputable maker is the first place to start, the Bianchi Black widow and the silhouette from Galco are both good starting points, so would be a good askins type.
Understand that every one who carries has a holster box, and in it are experiments that failed for YOU.
Second. join MnGunTalk, and meet others who are likewise conditioned.
some like IWB, if your body fits the carry you will too, if not it sux big time
I carry a commander full time, and I use an OWB bianchi black widow as my EDC carry, it works, wont break the bank and keeps the gun in nice and tight. the only months that concealment is an issue are june july and august, the rest of the year the obligitory over shirt will hide anything you wish to carry
