I got this rifle in Texas years ago, it was carried in a saddle scabbard for decades and is an absolutely beautiful rifle with tons of natural patina. Manufactured in 1931 going off the serial number. There is even a worn spot on the wood(walnut)where your hand goes. The best part; the bore is PERFECT! Literally a mirror bore, whoever owned this over the years made sure to clean the barrel often and properly. These have seen a recent resurgence in value due to Winchester re-introducing the ‘94. (The new ones are made in Japan and very nice but the original is where it’s at IMHO) I’m passing this along for a good deal to someone who will hopefully appreciate it for what it is as I have. The rifle functions perfectly and shoots “modern” 30-30 ammo no problem. Although I’ve only put maybe 25 rounds through it in the last 10 years.
$600 shipped to your FFL and I’d prefer if they accept transfer from individuals, obviously I will provide any info they need. If not I can have my FFL ship it also, no prob. Open to one-knife trades(not interested in customs)or other guns/gear just shoot me an email/PM.
Thanks!
