1937 Display Case With Knives

Tom,
Welcome to BladeForums.

Tom was the #1 knife repairman at Camillus. If you needed a knife fixed, Tom was the man to see. If he didn't have the parts he would make them. I sent him an old #88 LOK-RANCHER to repair and he modified a blade to fit.

Tom taught me a lot about knife repair. He had 38 years of service with Camillus. Tom and his wife, Pam, were great assets to the company. Pam could assemble in a knife in 17 seconds.

I hope Tom will share some of his memories at the cutlery on BladeForums.

That modle # is 4

Thank you very much , Tom. I have one just like this that I got around 1976. Carried it around everywhere for years. A great knife. Still have it, with its sheath. Its retired though, sentimental value outweighing its utility as an EDC:) A lot of miles together with that one...

Tom,

I'm glad you have posted here! Welcome.

You taught me so very much about knives in my 27 years at Camillus, I can never thank you enough!

Pam even helped me quite a few times when I was trying to figure out how to assemble something we had never assembled before.
I distinctly remember you both saving my bacon on occasons!!

My love & best wishes to you both,

Phil

I still would like to know if there is any place on line to view info on display cases? Any would still be very appreciated.

Thanks
Brian
