(SOLD) FOR SALE- 20” Mossberg 500 or 88 Security Barrel w/ Cylinder Choke and sling swivel. This is a 28” Mossberg 500 Vent Rib Hunting Barrel that I had cut down to 20” by a gunsmith during Covid when it was really hard to find security length barrels. This was a slightly older Mossberg barrel back when quality control was really high. It has good steel and shoots straight as an arrow. Great patterns with buckshot and tight groups with slugs. Because it has a vent rib, it shoots to the point of aim unlike Mossberg’s standard 18.5” security barrels which shoot really high unless you change the front bead. Only reason I’m selling it is because I bought a Mossberg 500 combo which has both the security and hunting barrel, so I no longer need this. If you want a super high quality barrel that hits what you aim at, you can’t go wrong with this one.
