I have just been given a Raymond Thorpe Bowie knife, made by Randall Knives some time in 1964.

The handle is ivory, with a brass end cap held on by a nut. There is a nice sheath with it which has a side pouch w/ sharpening stone.

My Uncle had ordered this and had it made especially for him and had to wait a year before he got it!

I tried to talk with the guys at Randall Knives in Orlando, but they acted indifferent, and did not want to talk to me.

Any information on this knife will be appreciated.

Thank you,

If you can take photographs of the knife and sheath this will help. The sheath is an important part of the puzzle. What information are you seeking? If you would like to know value or if it is authentic...photographs are a must!

Call the shop again and be specific.
