I have a 1967 Marlin 336 Texan 30-30 with saddle ring. In 1965 the saddle ring was added to the receiver and was discontinued in 1972. You will also note the lever is rounded not squared, the squared levers came out in 1970. It also is a straight stock and JM stamped, it even has a JM stamped hammer side extension. Whoever gets this will not be disappointed. If you are a Marlin guy or lever gun collector dont let this one go. The rifle will be shipped from my FFL dealer to your FFL dealer.
