4" Royal Blue. I bought the gun NIB about 2 years ago and have fired 75 rounds, just a few .357's. Gun and box are both in perfect, brand new condition. It's a beautiful and extremely accurate gun that can't be equalled by today's Colt. Not even close. Trade towards JESS HORN folder. I will add cash for the right knife. Must be stainless frame, as new condition. I'll send pics on request

I have knives I will tell you are Jess Horn ;) .....

That sounds like a beautiful Python, just the talisman you'll need for the knife you're chasing.

The search is the fun part......Jess isn't making MANY knives, but Colt isn't making ANY Pythons.....

If I had a Horn knife, I'd have a new Python as fast as we could type.

Got a pair of four-inchers myself, mid and late sixties, and a six-incher, also mid sixties, plus a couple Troopers MKI, (1964 and 1966). Each has the simply sweetest trigger ever built.

I have an old 4" blue Python (mine's from the 60's) and it is a superb example of the gunmaker's art. The old Pythons are the finest production handguns ever made. Ever. And the old 4" blued are the nicest of the nice. They are future museum pieces. They are fit and finished like Swiss watches. You will never find a finer handgun, ever. FWIW, the value of an old 4", Blue Python is around $1300 these days, worth every penny, and will be worth more in the future.

Guys...Please note that this IS NOT a "chat forum"!.:grumpy:.
