SOLD to Cartophilis. Thanks BF!

-----------------------------------------

Up for sale is a 1973 Case Half Congress in carbon steel. I'm not sure if they called it CV back then. I've had this knife for a few years but I never carry it. It's a great old knife. The scales are Delrin and are sort of brown/caramel color. The blades both are shaving sharp and have some patina. The walk and talk is great, especially for a 47 year old knife. Both blades have half-stops.

There is some slight blade play on the large blade but you really have to try to feel it.

Small blade pull=5-6
Large blade pull=3-4

Both blades snap shut very nicely, with authority.

No box. I will wrap it in parchment paper and it will be well padded in the package.

Asking $45 shipped.

PayPal only. No trades.
I ship via USPS Priority Mail w/tracking unless otherwise discussed.

Please email or PM me if interested, or post on my profile.

Thanks for looking.

The small blade is more firm than I would prefer. The large blade is perfect, IMO. I would rate them as follows:

Small blade pull=5-6
Large blade pull=3-4

Both blades snap shut very nicely, with authority.

FYI, that is delrin (a plastic), not bone. Case uses the same "6" code for jigged delrin (not 3 for smooth) as they do for bone, and it can be hard to tell sometimes, but that is definitely delrin. GLWS.

Thanks Planterz. Appreciate it. Also, if the price is high please let me know. I haven't a clue what it is worth so I'm not firm on the price.

Updated thread with Delrin and dropped price.
