The Gerber BMF (Basic Multi-Function) is a large, iconic, discontinued combat/survival knife from the 1980s and 90s, known for its steel blade with serrations, steel pommel, and a distinctive sheath that held a compass and sharpener, popular with military personnel and collectors. Used by troops in Desert Storm.
