$250 ONE TIME PRICE DROP! $225

I'm selling this knife for my dad. He is the one who got me started in collecting knives, and this is one of his oldies. It is basically in mint condition, only taken out over the years to gawk at. My dad said that there are a couple of tiny marks on the inside of the LATCH from the tip of the blade. You can see the two tiny dots on the latch in the photos. They could easily be removed, so besides that this is technically mint. This was way before Frost Cutlery became crap. This knife was back when Frost Cutlery was made in Japan. But my dad said he polished off the word "Japan" on the tang because back then he thought the US made stuff was the best (he was in the military) LOL. This knife is super heavy duty and very thick. Here are the specs straight from my old man:

Closed 5 1/8 ", open 9 ". Blade 4 3/16 ".
Blade full hollow ground. Blade thickness 3/16 ".
Handles solid milled brass.
Handle inserts resin impregnated layered wood or micarta.
Estimated weight 8 oz.
Purchased in mid 1980's.

Frost Cutlery, Japan.

He lives in Kentucky and I am in IL, so any questions will be redirected to him. If you are a serious buyer, I can get you guys on the phone to ask any other questions. I've held this knife and know that it is extremely thick and heavy. I almost crapped my pants when he let me hold it. They really just don't make em' like they use to. He bought it 20 something years ago, but he is having even more financial difficulty than I am, so he has to sell it. This is probably one of the few times you will ever see this balisong. I tried to find any info on this but couldn't come up with anything. It truly is a collectible.

God Bless,
Richard
