As is usually the case, someone will post a thread about a particular model and I convince myself I just have to have one. The was a recent very interesting thread about whittlers so I tracked this one down.
Case 6308 6 dot, nice color on the bone, great shape, a tad over 3 1/4.

That's a nice one. It doesn't looked used at all.

Rob that's a clean little whittler, the bone on it is really pretty.

That is a nice one. Enjoy it, I know that I would. I have a newer 6208 half-whittler that I like alot.

Nice one there, Rob. (Hope you don't mind my editing the thread title to reflect the proper date.)

That's a nice, tight little Case. Fit and finish looks distinctly better than the newer ones I have.

Hope you're planning to do a little aimless whittling with that.:) It would seem quite appropriate.

Good job of trackin' amigo. That's a sweet lil whittler, and great photos to boot! :)

It looks to be in terrific shape for a quarter-century classic.

Nice wedge-spring whittler Rob. Tough to make and fit. Case must use models like that to test the assemblers' skills!

Great year and great knives...I married my high school sweetheart that year and she's just as special today as she was then....:)

It was also the last year that Case made that pattern.

It was discontinued for many years and has been brought back on a limited basis, but I believe the new ones have three backsprings not split backspring construction.

KA, does Case make anything with wedged backsprings anymore?
