I have one of these NIB with the sheath and was wondering what they are worth?

Look on ebay for one like it... Or some one on the forum will let you know soon... I hope... Any pics??? That always helps....

More than I can afford:(-gotta believe $150-200 for sure-stag on a discontinued model=$$$. Dont take my word for it I have a habit of :foot:
 
I just checked the MSRP of the 500SG from the 1987 catalog and price list and it sold new for $45.50 for what ever that's worth. I know I wouldn't bat an eye at $100-$125 now given the opportunity.
 
i dont collect the 500 but i do watch out for them
and about a C'note is about were they are for now..
it was not long ago the they were in the 50 to 75 range
so they are climbing in value!
 
Would it be better to sell it under British Blades or a Buck Collecters site?

That's a nice knife. Its Sambar Stag. Adi, I'd consider targeting Buck Collectors as they will pay you a tad more. Expect about $100 - $125 (plus $10 for shipping max). If you ship to USA from GB with that high shipping cost, expect a lower sale price. Just my two cents...and it could be all wrong but I collect 500s and keep a pretty close eye on them.
 
Thanks for the reply.I currently have it for sle for £150 on British Blades as I cannot advertise it on the Buck site.If anybody wants it please let me know and I will discuss the price with fellow Buck fan!
