19th Annual AKA Arkansas Custom Knife Show Photos

GREAT pictures, Caleb!!!

Thanks so much for posting them here.

The only problem is that seeing all those great pics of all those great knives and so many knife makers I know makes me even more bummed I could not make it this year. :dispirited:

But it also makes me more determined to make it next year. :)

Caleb, thank you very much for the pictures. Great work. Also thank you for taking the time to take them and post them. Great way to relive the
show.

Great knives and great pics Caleb. Certainly have conveyed some of the shows atmosphere.

Mr White, love that leather jacket mate.

Caleb,

I too would like to add my thanks for all of the time & effort that you put into this. A perfect way to relive a fun weekend. As I told you at the show, your photography just continues to get better & better and I always look forward to your recap of the show. NICE JOB!

Thanks Caleb for those of us who can't be there. Great pics!
I agree with Steven, captions would be nice but I can see how prohibitively time consuming it would be.

Great shots Caleb! Like the others have said, they really capture the essence and energy of the show. So many smiling faces and genuinely happy people always make this event more like a family reunion than anything resembling work:) I honestly can't wait to see the pics you work up for me brother, I feel like a little kid waiting on Xmas to get here all over again!

Bill, it takes a skilled photographer like Caleb to catch me and my crypto-kin in our natural habitat. We're extremely camera-shy and always on the lookout for danger! The show had snacks though...so it appears we still fall for the ol' bait trick:D

thank you for these beautiful pics, I never tire of watching them
...Moreover, I go back

Best shots of a show i've ever seen. Your candid pictures capture a "spirit" which is a special gift. Thanks for sharing them for free!

The comment about "spirit" is spot on. Often, when people are in the pic, the posed shots at a table or with awards being presented dominate. Here you see those and also other dimensions of what was going on. The camaraderie, relaxed smiles and laughs with friends. The intensity, as knives are in hand or on a table being looked over.

Great presentation Caleb. Thank you. It captures the essence of why I am part of this community and the quality of the people I have the privilege to meet and engage with. I'll make it to this show someday.

A fun show, well documented through your lens, Caleb. Thanks for the time and expertise.

have been able to capture all those moments, mister Caleb you're a genius to me
I 've had tears in his eyes

usually knives are beautifully photography by artists, but I have the impression that this time the knives are living under the masterly lens of Caleb
